No~ Mivva~ No~

Why is your box so light this time? whyyy??? *sulks*

I bought the much raved about ePure mask also, how come it’s not outside the box? hmm maybe it’s inside then??

I also got a receipt which was supposedly for my mask purchase! but then kan, eh nama and total purchased tak sama je… Must have been a mix up of receipts at MIVVA… okay la i don’t mind that, wondering if the Miss A from KL who also got an ePure noticed that the customer’s name is different hahaha!

2013-10-06 19.41.56

OH, my ePure really IS inside… the whole big 250ml tub of ePure.

Walao, then the rest of the contents must be so small and super light wei…

Wait, wait, let’s see first before we judge, shall we?

1. Secretleaf Argan Hydrating Cleanser

2013-10-06 19.42.49

2013-10-06 19.43.06

Here’s a swatch, and it smells pretty nice. Claims to have argan oil, aloe vera and seaweed extract, and housed in a toothpaste like tube but has a conventional cream/cleanser tube-cap which fastens and unfastens quite nicely. Secretleaf is Malaysian also (HQ at Selangor, Produced at SP).

I’m still feeling ambivalent about getting a face cleanser since I still have quite a lot left (In my bathroom is the Murad Pomegranate cleanser and H2O+ exfoliating cleanser and the too-drying Gamila that I now for body wash instead)

2013-10-06 19.43.58

Actually I felt that their Argan Oil (tried previously) was a tad bit oily so I just mixed with my Rosken body lotion to get this body butter like consistency and boy was it effective at solving the dry scaly lower limbs.

2. Unico Pearl Scar Cream RM198.80 for 15g (7g = RM92.80)

Claims to lighten freckles, scars, dark skin tone etc. This is actually pretty pricey leh although the packaging looks horrible. In face the few range of skincare/cosmetics from Unico seems pricey such as DrMarc and Euphoria.

Anyway, I’ve never tried spot treatments such as this. My face is very very far from perfect but I don’t see an immediate need for it on the face. Most probably gonna try this on on my mosquito scars on my legs that came as a result of scratching them too much.

2013-10-06 19.45.06

2013-10-06 19.45.54

It has this creamy-concealer type of consistency going on here.

2013-10-06 19.46.37

2013-10-06 19.47.33

Creamy-pasty like.

2013-10-06 19.48.51

I think it’s supposed to be used at night and not blended with the surrounding skin like this haha! Looks ghastly white as a result.

3. ONL

a) Ecopure White balance skin toner and emulsion RM89.90/120ml

b) Oceaniq 3D antiwrinkle total solution CC RM149.90/35ml

Korean products are so overpriced in Malaysia! Must go and sapu all of them when I’m in Korea. I love Korean stuff, but the samples are so small, as always.

2013-10-06 19.49.36

5. Beautymate Bird Nests and Lilium Candidum Firming Rejuvenate Nano Mask RM49.90/7pcs (RM7.2)

Wow that’s a big mouthful! this is okay for me, as always from Beautymate. One can never have too many masks.

2013-10-06 19.50.35

It could be just me but i’m just feeling that this month could have been much much better. Oh well, beauty is in the eyes of its beholder. Obviously, it isn’t me this month.

Next up: My OWN PURCHASE. The supposed-to-be-very-famous Epure Mask. Costs a whopping RM130 dun play play. I have since found out that there is Flash Sale at MIVVA going on until 13th October so I bought another one just now at RM104, as well as various sellers on Lowyat which sells this cheaper than RM130 of course (or maybe even cheaper? I didn’t check).

Lesson learnt: In Malaysia, ALWAYS check for better deals on forums etc.

2013-10-06 20.35.23

This reminds me of hair gel that a lot of boys used to use during my secondary school days.

2013-10-06 20.37.42

Lousy thing which is supposed to seal the whole tub got detached from the cap. Had to glue it back myself, no biggie.

2013-10-06 20.29.00

Preliminary usage of ePure seems favorable so far. I will update with results no matter bad or good and whether it REALLY is WORTH all the hype in the Malaysian blogger world. Quite a lot of bloggers/forum-ers sell this themselves and I also saw this on Hishop. So they must generate some publicity to sell their stuff kan…

So, for this month’s box, actually I’m most satisfied my own purchase which is the ePure. Feeling meh about the others. If anything seems exciting I’ll update in the distant future lah

=P

Since I wasn’t around again when they delivered my parcel, I collected mine from Poslaju yesterday when it reopened after the Hari Raya Puasa Holidays.

Yep, finally, the new box from MIVVA! silver paintbrush polkadots on a black black box~ The design for the last box was actually prettier, but this one is much more sturdier and practical to store my stuff.

2013-08-12 14.25.04

Here’s a bird’s eye view of the contents. The box this time has really got everything covered from head to toe, which is supposed to be great!

2013-08-12 14.36.16

First, the scent. Action: Hang this in the room!

2013-08-12 14.38.57

1. Shills Rose Essential Hydrating Skin Care Set – Cleansing gel, Toner, Essence

These were super tiny at 3ml each, but all the full sizes are relatively affordable items ranging from RM59-99 for the full size.

2013-08-12 14.30.27

2013-08-12 14.31.55

2. Di Palomo Orange Blossom with Wild Honey & Olive Moisturizing Body Wash (25ml) RM69/250ml

I’m really glad I got this instead of the hand/nail cream or hand/body lotion ‘cos besides the Eucerin and Bio-oil that I purchased earlier on my own, I’ve gained a whole lot of lotions, creams and essential oils from all these beauty boxes. Plus, I can bring it along on my next autumn trip ^^

2013-08-12 14.37.03

3. F Cup Cookies RM78.90/4 sticks

Claims to have lots of phytoestrogens to enhance your assests.  Anyway this isn’t exactly cheap and further info is available at www.fcup.my or can be purchased at www.tokyoninki.com with the RM20 off voucher

2013-08-12 14.29.09

2013-08-12 14.32.41

4. Dermedex Refining Cream 2 Challenge Pack

Consists of a Biotox Cleanser and biotox refining cream 2 for all skin types.

2013-08-12 14.27.42

5. Tsubaki Damage Care Shampoo (RM16.90/220ml) and Conditioner (RM33.90/550ml)  40ml each

Yay for damaged hair care products! Another must to bring on my next travel

2013-08-12 14.30.12

6. I-gel Aire refreshing Eye drops RM18.8 for 10ml

Some may say that this is nowhere near to be touted as a beauty product, but I say that if your eyes are dry, irritated and red, it’s not gonna be a pretty sight. Plus, almost everybody wears contact lenses nowadays and these are especially formulated for contact lens wearers. See that Sodium hyaluronate in it for hydration!

2013-08-12 14.36.54

This month’s contents were fair-good for me. Though the novelty of beauty boxes seem to be wearing off for me already >.<

Finally got it on 19th from the Poslaju office (missed the delivery on 18th 2pm).

If you’re wondering why mine was delivered late on the 17th instead of 4th of July along with other subscribers, you can read the beginning of my JUNE post since I’m lazy like that.

And oh crap, I didn’t get the new black/white polka-dot-ish box. Yerrrr, this one also slightly dented, bo sui, so I won’t be reusing this.

-My Pamper Kit-

2013-07-18 09.03.10

Boo! Here’s the whole box in full view!

I’m not sure if these products count towards being pampering as the theme says, but there is a definite focus on moisturizing this time!

2013-07-18 09.04.41

Let’s start analyzing!

1. Beautymate Purifying and Hydrating Nano Toner (RM49.90/120ml)

Claim: Hydrates and brightens, softens, smoothens

I love toners. I still have the other Purifying and Brightening Beautymate toner from Mivva and on my 3rd bottle of Hada Labo. Hence I alternate them depending on what I feel my skin needs most for the day. These 2 beautymate toneres go on the i-feel-i-need-some-brightening day.

This new orange opaque glass bottled toner, has a much more toned down scent compared to the other toner, and I quite like it so far based on my few days of usage.

2013-07-21 18.21.36

2. Elianto Ardour Shadow (RM8/2g) in Earth Brown

Yep, I swatched it, and i didn’t really like it even though I loved last months Enuca.

This Earth brown wasnt really THAT pigmented and wasn’t really a very special color too so…

3. Somang Danahan Bonyeon Intensive Moisturizing Skin Toner (RM139.90/160ml) and Emulsion (RM139.90/160ml)

The scent was almost too overpowering for me. Function-wise both were good. But Somang seriously needs to reconsider putting the Emulsion in this type of container ‘cos it is sibeh hard to take out the product wei… I did love the feeling of these 2 products on my face though and I’m actually quite sad that it finishes up in about 3 uses or so.

2013-07-18 09.10.14

4. Unico Eye Lip Enriched Cream RM98.80/15ml

Anyway this is more of a gel type of products despite its name. And I’ve no idea why there is a LIP in the name too –> weird…..

I can’t testify much regarding how good it is, because I feel that Hylexin and my Bobbi Brown hydrating eye cream are wonderful (but of course the price is also very different la haha). I think it’s on par with my previous Naruko eye cream that I have since binned because it expired already, which isn’t really much because I never did think that the Naruko cream was Ooh-La-La.

2013-07-18 09.06.14

5. Re-Gen Oil (RM29.90/75ml or RM45.90/125ml)

PCL liquid, Vitamin A&E –> Anti-ageing

Lavendar, calendula, chamomile and rosemary oils –> Moisturizes, hence improves blemished skin and scarred skin

I’ve tried using oils, but oils and me really don’t work out. Sigh…

Overall, from the July box:

I loved the beautymate toner and somang products; liked the eye cream, but disliked the regen oil and elianto eyeshadow.

But of course these are my personal preferences, so feel free to disagree!
