Why is your box so light this time? whyyy??? *sulks*

I bought the much raved about ePure mask also, how come it’s not outside the box? hmm maybe it’s inside then??

I also got a receipt which was supposedly for my mask purchase! but then kan, eh nama and total purchased tak sama je… Must have been a mix up of receipts at MIVVA… okay la i don’t mind that, wondering if the Miss A from KL who also got an ePure noticed that the customer’s name is different hahaha!

OH, my ePure really IS inside… the whole big 250ml tub of ePure.

Walao, then the rest of the contents must be so small and super light wei…

Wait, wait, let’s see first before we judge, shall we?

1. Secretleaf Argan Hydrating Cleanser

Here’s a swatch, and it smells pretty nice. Claims to have argan oil, aloe vera and seaweed extract, and housed in a toothpaste like tube but has a conventional cream/cleanser tube-cap which fastens and unfastens quite nicely. Secretleaf is Malaysian also (HQ at Selangor, Produced at SP).

I’m still feeling ambivalent about getting a face cleanser since I still have quite a lot left (In my bathroom is the Murad Pomegranate cleanser and H2O+ exfoliating cleanser and the too-drying Gamila that I now for body wash instead)

Actually I felt that their Argan Oil (tried previously) was a tad bit oily so I just mixed with my Rosken body lotion to get this body butter like consistency and boy was it effective at solving the dry scaly lower limbs.

2. Unico Pearl Scar Cream RM198.80 for 15g (7g = RM92.80)

Claims to lighten freckles, scars, dark skin tone etc. This is actually pretty pricey leh although the packaging looks horrible. In face the few range of skincare/cosmetics from Unico seems pricey such as DrMarc and Euphoria.

Anyway, I’ve never tried spot treatments such as this. My face is very very far from perfect but I don’t see an immediate need for it on the face. Most probably gonna try this on on my mosquito scars on my legs that came as a result of scratching them too much.

It has this creamy-concealer type of consistency going on here.

Creamy-pasty like.

I think it’s supposed to be used at night and not blended with the surrounding skin like this haha! Looks ghastly white as a result.

3. ONL

a) Ecopure White balance skin toner and emulsion RM89.90/120ml

b) Oceaniq 3D antiwrinkle total solution CC RM149.90/35ml

Korean products are so overpriced in Malaysia! Must go and sapu all of them when I’m in Korea. I love Korean stuff, but the samples are so small, as always.

5. Beautymate Bird Nests and Lilium Candidum Firming Rejuvenate Nano Mask RM49.90/7pcs (RM7.2)

Wow that’s a big mouthful! this is okay for me, as always from Beautymate. One can never have too many masks.

It could be just me but i’m just feeling that this month could have been much much better. Oh well, beauty is in the eyes of its beholder. Obviously, it isn’t me this month.

Next up: My OWN PURCHASE. The supposed-to-be-very-famous Epure Mask. Costs a whopping RM130 dun play play. I have since found out that there is Flash Sale at MIVVA going on until 13th October so I bought another one just now at RM104, as well as various sellers on Lowyat which sells this cheaper than RM130 of course (or maybe even cheaper? I didn’t check).

Lesson learnt: In Malaysia, ALWAYS check for better deals on forums etc.

This reminds me of hair gel that a lot of boys used to use during my secondary school days.

Lousy thing which is supposed to seal the whole tub got detached from the cap. Had to glue it back myself, no biggie.

Preliminary usage of ePure seems favorable so far. I will update with results no matter bad or good and whether it REALLY is WORTH all the hype in the Malaysian blogger world. Quite a lot of bloggers/forum-ers sell this themselves and I also saw this on Hishop. So they must generate some publicity to sell their stuff kan…

So, for this month’s box, actually I’m most satisfied my own purchase which is the ePure. Feeling meh about the others. If anything seems exciting I’ll update in the distant future lah

MIVVA September 2013 Glow Gizmo

Yay! It’s finally here! This month’s was a tad bit delayed by a week or so because September is extra-extra customized for us!

I got an email requesting for details of the refractive error readings of my eyes at about the 2nd half of august and that’s how most of us guessed that a pair of contact lens is in the house this time! I was super excited cos I thought I could try a new colored lens. Oh well~

September’s theme is Glow Gizmo, although I’m not too sure whether this compilation can actually make us glow or not lah hahah! MIVVA has been using this same face model for its website/product descriptions, and although she is definitely more prettier and glowy looking, too many appearances bores me wei… Not that it’s that important lah =P I’m sure lots of people don’t notice or mind it…

1. Ascience Hair Products – i see big big sachets

a) Shine Therapy Range: Shampoo + Conditioner

b) Nature Smooth range: Shampoo + Conditioner

Aaah, I’ve always been attracted to Japanese products, I wonder why I’ve never picked these up. Oh yeah, cos I’m currently using the Shiseido Fuente shampoo and there are still 1 or 2 hair stuff／samples lying around waiting for me to 宠幸 them =P

I may dislike sachets, but each of this sachet seem to hold enough for at least 3-4 uses with liberal application.

2. Beautymate Purifying and Brightening Nano Mask

Need I say more? It’s great!

3. IGEL Aure monthly clear contact lens x1 pair

Aiya… I thought can get the colored one…

Ok la nevermind, this is good enough, bear in mind that this is a silicon hydrogel lens that I hope is much better than the Air Optix that I’m currently wearing. If it’s that good and there are no further contraindications, I might just switch to this ^^

4. Arty Professional Face color – Mania

This is a very blendable shimmery shade that shouts you-see-something-but-you-can’t-really-see-it type of coppery color. Just nice for my newly found hobby of discovering and stacking up on cosmetics.

5. Somang Stuffssssss

a) Danahan Bon Yeon Jin (anti wrinkle) Gift set: Toner + Emulsion

I felt it was excellent for my super dry skin! I think I’m really really starting to love korean skincare.

*note to self: must buy lots and lots when i’m in seoul in november!*

b) ONL (Today) Perfect White Sun Cream x2 sachets

On the dry side for me, could see flakes this morning even after i put on the danahan stuff. Although I’m not so sure when was it exactly last week that I exfoliated my face XD

I reckon it’s much better for oily skin types though.

c) ONL (Today) Air Bliss BB Cream x2 sachets –> will try soon!

Here is a cute handheld mirror that they wrapped nicely to prevent breakage. It’s very handy to carry around, my only complaint is that the mirror fell out of the handle the next day O.o!! so i’ll need to glue it back on soon.

Overall, I very much liked the September box from MIVVA. Good Job. Now, excite me more in the coming months, especially DEcembER, the gift giving month! muahahahaha
